The Best Choice seal is my personal quality mark, which I only give to places where I am really excited about something, and where I would send my closest friends without hesitation. It is not an advertisement, a paid collaboration or an empty gesture. It is my own travel recommendation, which was created based on a real experience.

This seal marks accommodations, places, experiences and restaurants that I have personally tried and recommend with a pure heart. I think that in my years of traveling, I have tried various types of accommodations, from very cheap accommodation to 5+ star hotels. I feel like I have slept everywhere. From hostels where I had to shower with a bucket, to hotels where they make your bed before you get back from breakfast. I have tried everything from punk to luxury. I have eaten in so many restaurants that I think I can recognize one that is worth it, and one that I would not recommend even to my worst enemy.

I already know what travelers really appreciate, from comfort to fair price to that little detail that makes you say “I’ll come back!” And because my website is read by thousands of travelers every month, I feel a huge responsibility for every recommendation I put out into the world.

That’s why I introduced The Best Choice seal. It’s an award that only places and experiences that I would like to return to or am returning to myself receive.
The Best Choice seal serves as a personal „stamp of trust“. Think of it as a private Michelin star that gives you:

It guarantees quality – it makes it clear to you that a place, food or experience is really worth it. This way you have a guarantee that it’s not a random tip from the internet, but my personal experience.
It makes choosing easier – if you don’t have time to read long reviews, you’ll see my seal on the blog and immediately know: „Ah, this is the best!“
It’s a brand – with the places I choose, you have the confidence that you won’t make a mistake.
It’s not limited to restaurants and accommodation – I also recommend experiences that have excited me and I’m sure will excite you too. And what do I mean by that? For example, a cooking class, a visit to the market, a massage, a boat trip or even a specific museum.
In short, The Best Choice seal is my way of telling you: “I’ve been here, I’ve experienced, tasted or tried this. And it’s so good that I recommend it to you too.”
