🇻🇳 VIETNAM

VIETNAM

Vietnam looks like a narrow green strip of land stuck to the sea on a map. In reality, it is a world full of contrasts. Thousands of limestone islands rising from the mist in Ha Long Bay, endless rice fields in the mountains of the north, the noisy streets of Hanoi full of motorbikes and small plastic stools where the best pho soup in the world is eaten.

It is a country where the smell of coffee in the morning is so strong that it would wake up even the most sleepyhead. Where markets sell everything from mangoes to fresh herbs to things you would rather not even know. And where crossing the road turns into a small act of courage and faith in human intuition.

I will take you to the places that most entertained, surprised or made me laugh in Vietnam. To noisy cities, where crossing the road is like meditation. To mountain villages, where the morning smells of rice and smoke from kitchens. To markets where the colors of fruit look as if someone has run them through a filter of reality.

Discover with me the little moments that usually don’t fit into guidebooks. They are what make traveling so beautiful.

So if you like the smell of coriander, the sound of rain falling on tin roofs, strong coffee and a bit of adventure. …

Welcome to the Vietnamese diary!
